Hi there! My name is Mia. I'm a producer, writer, and aspiring director. I also cook and sing quite nicely, but no one pays me for that.

Working in comedy is my passion; and the more absurd, out-there, cock-your-head-to-the side-inducing, the better. I've been in the production world since 2007 and worked on everything from independent short films to web video to commercials to television. Since that time, I've learned that I have a knack for organization, expanding on a script's humor and tone, and relating to people on a very sincere level. I guess that's why I'm most commonly employed as a producer, writer's assistant, and casting associate, respectively. I love creating and contributing to content that I believe in.

I love my job.

Other notable things about me include the fact that I'm from New Jersey, despite the lack of an accent. I can identify the breed of any dog just by looking at it with about 95% accuracy. When I was in junior high, I was voted Class Clown by my peers.

I have been awarded a Telly Award and was nominated for a Webby for my original online content; and I even won the grand prize (and a hat tip from special guest judge Rob Zombie) at the AMC "Greatest Fear" contest. Courtney Love, Mark McGrath, Pat O'Brien, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, Derrick Beckles, Michael Cera, Nathan Fielder, Aziz Ansari, and Seth Rogen are all immensely talented people with whom I have had the pleasure of working; and I have contributed to such networks as Comedy Central, Adult Swim (Cartoon Network), and CBS.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my portfolio.
